GOOSE FEATHER DOWN

Down feathers are the fluffy insulation feathers under the exterior body feathers. They’re very efficient at keeping the gooses warm.

Goose down offers several special advantages when used in bedding :

Superior Insulation: Goose down is known for its exceptional insulation properties. The clusters of down create thousands of tiny air pockets that trap body heat, keeping you warm in colder environments without feeling heavy or bulky.

Softness and Comfort (Non-Rebounded): The softness of goose down creates a plush, cozy, and non-rebound sleeping surface. It conforms to your body and neck contours, relieving pressure points (Bones and Muscle) and promoting a more restful sleep.

Longevity: High-quality goose down bedding can last for a liftetime with a proper care. The durable clusters of down maintain their loft and resilience over time, ensuring consistent comfort and insulation.

Luxurious Feel: The association of goose down with luxury and premium bedding enhances the overall aesthetic and feel of your bedroom. It adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to your sleeping environment.

Environmental Sustainability: Responsible sourcing practices ensure that the down used in bedding comes from ethically raised geese. Sustainable harvesting methods prioritize the welfare of the animals and minimize environmental impact.

PRODUCT CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Caring for goose down bedding properly is essential to maintain its loft, comfort, and longevity. Here are some general care instructions:

Professional Cleaning: It's best to have your goose down bedding professionally cleaned rather than washing it at home, especially for larger items like comforters and duvets. Look for a cleaner experienced in handling down products. We recommend to always use the “Dry Cleaning” method to wash goose down bedding products

Drying: Ensure your product is not in a damp/wet situation kind of thing, this situation would make your product lose a little bit of its filling power, dry it immediately in direct/indirect sunlight.

Use a Cover: Protect your goose down bedding cover. This helps keep it clean and reduces the frequency of washing.

Shake and Fluff Regularly: Air out your goose down bedding regularly by shaking and fluffing it. This helps redistribute the down clusters and maintain their loftiness.

Storage: Store your goose down bedding in a breathable cotton storage bag or a well-ventilated area when not in use. Avoid compressing it for long periods, as this can affect its loftiness.

Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect your goose down bedding for any signs of damage, such as tears, loose seams, or leaking feathers. Repair any minor damages promptly to prevent further deterioration.
